- The Hippodrome Arts Centre is located in downtown Julesburg and this historic theater offers movies at a very affordable price! They also host artist receptions where you can enjoy or even showcase your work. Live concerts and shows are also part of the entertainment scene at The Hippodrome! - Antiques and Artisans Plus is an antique collectors dream! Give yourself time to leisurly browse the vendor booths where you’ll find unique furniture, paintings and decor to match your style. They are located on the corner of Hwy 138 & Cedar Street. Follow them on Facebook.
- The NEW Julesburg CO Swimming Pool just opened this summer and offers open swim, night swim, swimming lessons and a water slide! The pool is located in town and is the perfect place to cool off and meet up with friends. The pool is located at 322 E. 8th Street and you can find a list of hours and events on their Facebook page.
- The Julesburg School District started the 2023 school year with a beautiful, newly constructed K-12 school! You can tour the school by calling: 970-474-3365. Follow their Facebook page to keep up with athletic events and announcements.
- SCOR (Sedgwick County Organized Recreation) is located in the Community Center, 102 W. 6th Street. They offer pickleball, trivia nights and a host of other recreational opportunities! Call for information: 970-580-3659. They also have a social media page where they post events regularly.
- The Sedgwick County Fair & Rodeo is held the 3rd week of July with 4-H livestock shows and sales, beer garden, live entertainment, kid’s playground with bounce houses and much, much more! Follow along their Facebook page to get the latest!
- Cruise Night is a BIG event here in Julesburg, where every August, hundreds of new and classic cars cruise Cedar Street! There’s mucic, food and craft vendors, kid’s bouncy houses and a street dance to end the night! Go to the Hippodrome Arts Centre Facebook page for more informantion!
- Sedgwick Harvest Festival is held over Labor Day Weekend in Sedgwick, CO. A parade, pasture golf, cornhole tournaments, food and craft vendors, a demo derby and much more are offered over the long holiday weeekend! They also have a Facebook page so that you can keep up with the latest happenings!
There are so many things to do in our community! If you’re a fan of day tripping, we’re right on the CO/NE border with easy access to more shopping, outdoor recreation opportunities and events! Come join us!
