Questions?

These are the questions we hear most often. If you don’t see yours here, just give us a call!

Most imaging is completely painless. X-rays and ultrasounds don’t hurt at all. CT scans might involve an IV for contrast dye, which is just a small poke. Our team will talk you through everything.

Most imaging requires a provider order. Vascular screening (Lifeline) doesn’t require one.

Yes, most imaging needs to be scheduled. Your doctor will send us an order, then we’ll call you to set up a time that works for you. Need it done quickly? We often have same-day or next-day spots available.

Comfortable clothes without metal (no zippers, snaps, or underwire bras for most scans). You might change into a gown depending on what area we’re imaging. We’ll let you know when you schedule.

For X-rays and EKGs, yes! For CT scans and some ultrasounds, you might need to skip food for a few hours. We’ll give you clear instructions when we schedule your appointment.

It depends on your insurance and which test you’re having. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most insurance plans. See our pricing page for more details. Don’t have insurance? Ask us about our Discounted Care Program – we’re here to help.

Usually within 1-2 days. Your doctor will get the report from our radiologist and will call you to discuss what it means and next steps. Emergency scans are read much faster.

Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring a family member or friend to wait with you. They might not be able to come into the imaging room itself, but they can be right there before and after.

Let us know when you schedule! Our CT scanner is open and spacious. If you’re still nervous, talk to your doctor—they might be able to prescribe something to help you relax.
