Deeply service-oriented, Dr. Jokerst has participated in numerous medical missions and volunteer initiatives, including providing care to more than 2,000 patients during a DOCare Medical Mission in Guatemala. His leadership and compassion extend beyond the clinical setting—he has served as Vice President of the American Medical Association’s Medical Student Section and as Volunteer Coordinator for DOCare at Midwestern University, fostering community outreach and global health engagement.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Jokerst enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and exploring projects that combine his interests in healthcare innovation and technology. He is also the proud owner of three loving dogs, who he dotes on and considers part of his family. His balance of professional dedication and personal warmth reflects the same empathy and attentiveness he brings to his patients and colleagues every day.
