$28.00 – $35.00/hour + on-call pay. Relocation assistance up to $5,000 (3-year commitment).

Position Summary

The Radiology/CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient care across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and long-term care settings. This role includes X-ray, CT, and basic cardiac diagnostics while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform X-ray, CT, EKGs, stress testing, and Holter monitor setup
  • Prepare and educate patients for imaging procedures
  • Coordinate advanced imaging services (MRI, Ultrasound, etc.)
  • Document procedures in EHR, PACS, and RIS systems
  • Maintain safety, infection control, and radiation standards
  • Communicate effectively with providers and care teams
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
  • Participate in on-call coverage rotation

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of radiology and CT imaging procedures
  • Ability to operate imaging equipment safely and effectively
  • Strong communication and patient interaction skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Experience Preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of imaging experience
  • Rural or critical access hospital experience preferred

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT Certification (R) – Required
  • ARRT Certification (CT) – Required
  • BLS Certification – Required
  • Additional modality certifications preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Standing, walking, reaching regularly
  • Occasional bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to assist patients with mobility and transfers

Work Environment

This position works in a clinical imaging environment with potential exposure to radiation, biohazards, chemicals, and moving equipment. Work may include variable shifts, on-call responsibilities, and emergency situations.
